Very good teacher
Our 2 daughters (18 and 20) had very nice days in their snowboard class. Nice teacher too!
Because it was the first snowboard course, we don't have a direct comparison. What can be said, however, is that the teachers were very dedicated, friendly and patient. The contact with the office was very friendly. All in all great.
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
Yes, these lessons are designed for beginners and for those who are new to winter sports.
The course focuses on the basic techniques for snowboarding. This includes slide slipping, stopping, the right stance and making your first turns in the snow.
You meet your instructor at the meeting point 30 minutes before the course starts.
Yes, you have to show your ski school ticket at the meeting point. You can pick it up from the office up to 1 hour before the lesson starts.
If there are less than 5 participants, the lessons will be shortened to a half-day course. This does not apply during the following weeks: 20.12-07.01 / 31.01-26.02 / 21.03-10.04.
