In this snowboarding course, powder adventure and action in the fun park are the order of the day. Kids and teenagers who already possess a good experience of snowboarding can join these kids snowboarding lessons in Kaprun and have an unforgettable time in the ski region Zell am See-Kaprun and the Kitzsteinhorn glacier.
Your kids will experience quick success as they explore more difficult slopes or try their hand at halfpipe, jibbes, boxes and rails in one of the funparks. Off-piste snowboarding is also on the course agenda. In a group with like-minded youths, and their qualified instructor, the young boarders will have an adventurous and educational winter holiday.
The Kaprun ski area has a 100% snow guarantee during winter because of its high altitude, perfect for advanced boarders who love shredding through the snow. Of course, they safety is highly important to us, and we make sure they are supervised at all times.
Meeting Time
We meet 30 minutes before the course start at our meeting point.
Please note that the participants have to show their ski school ticket at the meeting point. You can pick up the ticket until 1 hour before the lesson starts from our office.
If there are less than 5 participants, the lessons will be shortened to a half-day course (except during the following weeks: 20.12-07.01 / 31.01-26.02 / 21.03-10.04).
Lunch Break
If you book a full-day course including lunch care, our instructors are happy to take care of your children during the break from 11:30 am to 1 pm. A delicious meal is included.
Equipment Rental
If you book including equipment, you can conveniently pick it up at our ski school office. We recommend picking up your equipment 30 minutes before the start of the lessons or the day before from 4 pm to 6 pm in our rental shop.
Ski pass
All snowboarders need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or at the ski school before the first lesson.

What should I wear for my lessons?
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
When should I collect my equipment?
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Do I need to wear a helmet?
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Where can I buy a ski pass?
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Do I need to book my lessons in advance?
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
What level of snowboarding is required for this course?
This course is designed for advanced snowboarders. Participants should already have a good experience of snowboarding.
What will my child learn during the course?
The course focuses on powder adventures and action in the fun park. Participants will explore more difficult slopes, try out the halfpipe, jibbes, boxes and rails, and also experience off-piste snowboarding.

The activity Kids Snowboarding Lessons (4-15 y.) for Advanced Snowboarders by Skischule Ski Dome Oberschneider Kaprun in Lechnerberg-Kaprun and Kitzsteinhorn-Kaprun is available every day except Saturday, from December 20, 2026 through April 30, 2027.
