Challenge yourself and tackle one of Europe's most popular white water rafting descents along the mighty Imster Schlucht. Prepare to get wet as you navigate across the tumultuous rapids and rousing waves, and thereby try to withstand the powerful forces of nature. But don't worry, the Imster Schlucht, which is in fact a section of the Inn river, has both calmer and more challenging parts to it. As such, anyone who is willing to give rafting a try is welcome to join this tour. Brace yourselves for a spectacular adventure in the wild nature of the Tyrolean Alps.
Tour programme- Preparation:
We will meet at our base in Sautens. We are reachable by car (parking on site), by bus, which stops 600 metres from our base, or by train, the nearest station being approx. 3 km away (Ötztal railway station). Once here, you are provided with the most modern safety equipment.
- Tour:
After that, our shuttle buses will take you to the nearby point of entry. After a comprehensive “safety-talk” from one of our state-certified rafting guides, you will be transferred to the entry point of the river by bus, and you can start right off with the adventure.
- Return:
From the point of exit, you are transferred back to the base, where you can look forward to a warm shower and a game of beach volleyball. If you are hungry, you are welcome to order a pizza to our base. Alternatively, you can find a restaurant nearby.
