This tour is best suited for those who want to connect with nature in an exciting way. Explore Styria by raft as you become one with the element water. Together we will make our way through the turquoise white water of the Salza river, passing turbulent and exciting rapids.
Accompanied by one of our state-certified guides, your safety will always be taken care of at the highest level. Learn the ropes of the activity in the breathtaking Salzatal valley, one of the most beautiful parts of the country. Your rafting adventure will surely leave a lasting impression.
Tour programme- Preparation:
At first, we’ll be meeting at our base at the camping site in Palfau, where you’ll receive your rafting equipment. Then we’ll take you to the point of entry at the river.
- Tour:
Before we start off into the floods, you’ll receive an extensive safety instruction by one of our state-certified guides. After that, we’ll start the descent and navigate through the white water river together. Rafting is a team effort after all!
- Return:
The tour will end directly at the camping site, where you can have a hot shower and, if you want, enjoy a delicious barbecue.

The half-day tour is perfect for beginners, especially with children. We had a blast, and our guide, Denis, was amazing. Not only did he explain everything to us thoroughly during the introduction, but we also learned a lot about the landscape and history during the tour. Denis was funny, took us to the most beautiful places, and surprised us with his activities. We had a truly fantastic day – thank you again!
