We take you to the Isel river, which is the best location as it offers a lot of challenges. Of course, a state-certified guide is on board with you and will help you navigate the river safely. In addition, the surrounding landscape with the Lienzer Dolomites is a true natural spectacle. So what are you waiting for? Off into the floods!
Tour programme - Preparation: The meeting point for this tour is in Ainet at our base. You can park your cars directly on site at no extra cost. There you will get the suitable rafting equipment from your guide. After a detailed safety briefing, we will drive with our shuttle to the entry point at the Isel river. - Tour: Then the rafting fun can already begin. After 10 km on the river we will return to our base. - Arrival: Then it is time to relax and enjoy the rest of the day at our base, if you like. There you will find a delicious restaurant nearby.
Tour facts - River: Isel (Difficulty level: Class III) - Description: For the Isel River the glacier crystal clear water is characteristic which is thanks to its variety and spectacular scenery perfect for everybody - Distance: 10 km - Total duration: appr. 2.5 hours - Rafting duration (time on river): appr. 1:15 h

Austria · August 2024Our rafting tour on the Isel was a great experience. My wife (54) and I (64) gave each other this trip as a wedding anniversary present, which took place on that very day. It was the first trip on a rafting boat for both of us. The weather was nice and the river was well-flowing. We had positions one and two on one side of the boat and then switched once during the trip. We also took the opportunity to get out of the boat twice during the trip in calmer sections and let ourselves drift along in the water. There were three other adults and three teenagers on the trip with us. Our boat guide was very careful and there were no dangerous or unsettling situations, although it was quite wavy in some places and the water splashed over our heads. We both agreed that we would plan another "adventure" like this when the opportunity arose, perhaps even at a slightly more challenging level.
