Adult Ski Lessons for First Timers - Alpbach - Inneralpbach

You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.

You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.

Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.

Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.

Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.

The meeting point on Sundays and Mondays is 30 minutes before the start of the course below the top station of the Alpbach gondola, directly at "Frosty's Snowworld".

In this course, you will learn the basic skiing techniques in a safe and fast way on easy and medium-heavy slopes.

At the meeting point, you will do a short practice run so that the instructors can divide everyone into groups that match their ability level.

The state-certified ski instructors adapt the program to your abilities. According to reviews, they are very patient, competent and friendly.

Yes, on the 1st of January, the group lessons start one hour later than usual.
