Before heading down the slopes of the Grand Massif ski resort, there's nothing like a private ski lesson to get back in shape. Our private ski lessons for adults are aimed at skiers of all levels. They allow you to choose exactly what you want to work on, in collaboration with your instructor. If you haven't skied for a long time, just want to regain your confidence before skiing solo, or simply want to benefit from the expertise of a professional to work on new techniques, this is the most appropriate option.
With this one-to-one session, your instructor will take the time to give you personalized advice and adapt to your pace to ensure you have a great time while progressing effortlessly. It's also an ideal way to discover the area differently, as your instructor, a passionate local, knows the Grand Massif slopes inside out.
Meeting time
We meet at the time agreed when you book. For the first lesson, in order to meet your instructor, we will wait for you:
- At the bottom of the Kédeuze cable car in Les Carroz
- At the top of the automatic and covered magic carpet of Bissac in Flaine Forêt
Ski pass
All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass before the first lesson at the ski lift ticket office or online.

I had two 1-1 lessons with Jean Paul (4 hours in total). He is a friendly and patient teacher who gave clear instructions. I managed to progress quickly from being a complete beginner. I was already learning side slips and parallel turning on my second day on the slope.
100% recommend private lessons over group lessons. It’s more time efficient.

Second time we have used ESI in Flaine. Had the pleasure of Jean Paul as an instructor. I have skied for past 45 years and learnt more on these lessons than ever before. My wife who is a nervous skiier was also put very much at ease. Excellent value for money also. Look forward to using ESI again next year
