With its varied and accessible runs, the Grand Massif offers an ideal setting for a first experience in snowboarding or for perfecting your technique!
Our private snowboarding lessons are for all levels. It doesn't matter if you've never been on a board before or if you already have some experience, we're here to help you progress and refine your technique. Mastering snowboarding requires more confidence in yourself and your body than skiing, so the personalized guidance of our instructors is an effective way to push you to excel. This way, you can tackle your first turns or tricks with confidence!
The courses are tailor-made and adapted to your availability and requirements. It is up to you to decide on the duration of the lessons. You can come accompanied by friends or family to share this experience together, provided you have a similar level. However, we want to keep our group sizes small to ensure the quality of our training.
Meeting time
We meet at the time agreed when you book. For the first lesson, in order to meet your instructor, we will wait for you:
- At the bottom of the Kédeuze cable car in Les Carroz
- At the top of the automatic and covered magic carpet of Bissac in Flaine Forêt
Ski pass
All snowboarders need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass before the first lesson at the ski lift ticket office or online.
We had lessons with Audrey, a very friendly, cheerful, and knowledgeable woman. She carefully considered our level and adapted the lessons accordingly. We were well-challenged during the lessons, with lots of tips and tricks on how to improve our snowboarding. There were three of us (two adults and an 11-year-old).

Had three mornings of private snowboard lessons with Audrey and it was fantastic. My knowledge and confidence improved day after day (evidenced by my final solo afternoon run from the top where everything came together and I had the best run of the trip despite being exhausted because of what I’d learned).
Lessons were a good mix of fundamentals and fun stuff to keep it interesting while also learning useful skills.
Wouldn’t hesitate to have another lesson with Audrey next time we’re in Flaine, and really recommend to any adults looking to improve their snowboarding!
