You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
The lessons are suitable for all ability levels, from complete beginners in the Kinderland to advanced skiers looking to practice racing techniques. Slopes and exercises are chosen to match each child's skills.
These private lessons are open to children of all ages. Instructors adapt their pace and teaching methods to suit young children experiencing snow for the first time as well as older kids refining their skills.
The lessons take place in the Wildschönau ski area. The resort provides a diverse range of slopes, from dedicated practice areas like the Kinderland to runs suited for every level.
Private instructors evaluate your child's abilities to tailor the exercises, pacing, and slope selection. The focus is on safety, confidence, and fun while learning new techniques at an individual pace.
Beginners practice in dedicated areas such as the Kinderland. Instructors use a patient and playful approach to help children master essential basics, including braking, snowploughing, turning, and using lifts safely.
