Châtel provides access to a vast ski area between France and Switzerland, ideal for skiers of all levels. With our kids ski lessons, apprentice skiers will be able to fine-tune their skills and explore its many slopes in the best conditions. Quality learning and fun are the pillars of our teaching. If you want to learn while having fun, our group lessons are the ideal solution! In small groups of 4 to 9 kids of homogeneous level, we spend the week together. Each group has its own technical challenges to meet, ensuring that progress is tailored to the level and ability of each child. We believe that you learn better and differently by having fun, so we take great care to make our lessons a unique experience. Whether your child is just starting to do a clean snowplough or is already racing down the red runs with perfect parallel turns, our experienced instructors will help them reach their full potential. Start Time During the holidays (Christmas, February and Easter), the Sunday lesson takes place from 1 to 3 pm. The rest of the week, morning lessons take place at the times indicated. The afternoon lessons (3 to 5 pm) take place all week at the same time. Ski pass All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson. Levels First Timer: - Mouse: I have never skied before or only in the Kinderland (snow garden). Beginner: - Cristal: I can do snowplough turns and control my speed on easy green slopes. - Bronze Cristal: I can do snowplough turns and control my speed on easy blue slopes. Intermediate: - Silver Cristal: I start to bring my skis parallel on blue slopes. First introduction to red slopes. - Vermilion Cristal: I start to master parallel turns on blue and red slopes. Advanced: - Gold Cristal: I feel confident on red slopes. I am starting with parallel short turns.
