One review mentioned a last-minute change from a group to a more expensive private lesson, but most find the teaching exceptional. It's a great choice for building confidence and making learning fun on the slopes.

Unfortunately, it was a bad experience. We booked group lessons, but they turned out to be private lessons (much more expensive). This was due to a lack of participation. We only learned about this two days beforehand. The private lessons were very disappointing. We learned very little and were only made unsure by the ski instructor. He seemed uninterested in beginner adults and barely spoke any English. I do not recommend this ski school!
We had Walter as our instructor in Valfrejus. We were complete beginners and he had us skiing much better than I expected by Friday
Good ski instructors and pleasant to work with. Groups of up to 8 people.
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
The lessons are open to all skiers from the age of 13.
Groups do not exceed a maximum of 8 participants.
Yes, the lessons are suitable for all levels, including complete beginners. You will be placed in a group with an appropriate level.
Yes, the start times for adult ski lessons are the same as for the children's lessons, so the whole family can ski at the same time.
You should meet 20 minutes before the lessons start. Please note that you must first validate your registration at the ski school office (300 Place des Bergers, 73500 Valfréjus) either the evening before or on the morning of your first lesson.
