Tour programme
- Preparation:
Our school in the city centre of Belvianes-et-Cavirac is also our meeting place. There, our team will provide you with the equipment for the outing. Remember to bring some sport shoes to wear on the boat. You will also meet your guide, who will give you safety instructions and advices for the activity. Our shuttle bus will then drive us to the starting point on the river and will follow us through the journey. The driver will take pictures and be there if the route becomes too exhausting for someone.
- Tour:
Then, off for a 2hrs-descent! This tour is the combination of the upper part of the river and the "Adventurous" section, so you know what to expect. The first kilometres are the quieter ones and will be perfect to enjoy the pretty sceneries. During the second part of the descent, your (inner) sporty side will be more challenged. We will be navigating through some of the most beautiful gorges of the Aude department. The Pierre-Lys gorges in particular are the most popular natural tourist destinations of the region. This full descent offers lots of challenges along the way, so we’re sure you’ll be fulfilled at the end of the day.
- Return:
Our tour will finish directly in front of the base. There, you will be able to enjoy the picnic area and rest a bit before the ride home. Before leaving, you can buy the pictures of the excursion for €20 and keep those memories for a long time!
