The Taurinya canyon is made for sporty people who want to spend a day in a preserved rocky environment. Including abseiling sections up to 45 m, jumps up to 6 m and walking sections, you will get your share of excitement. Smile because the guide will take pictures with a camera (if available) and will send you those pictures in the days following the activity.
Tour programme
- Preparation:
We meet at our base in Marquixanes at the booked time. There you can put on your equipment and get to know your group (10 participants maximum).
- Tour:
You can then follow the state-certified guide for a 1.5hrs hike to the canyon followed by a picnic, where the guide will give you a safety demonstration. We will then enter this canyon for 5 exciting hours. The tour will culminate in an impressive 35 m waterfall to be abseiled down!
- Return:
After this vertical adventure, you can enjoy a good rest as soon as you return to the nautical base, perhaps even by eating at Le Caillou, the restaurant of the base, for an average supplement of €15.
