The Via Ferrata along the Sentiero dei Contrabbandieri, excavated by Austrian soldiers during the war, stretches for 2 km horizontally. The route is entirely overhanging the lake and therefore offers an exciting view through its whole length. Although the route is not too difficult, it is necessary that children already have experience of via Ferrata.
The Balconi sul Garda path is also called Sentiero Contrabbandieri (Smugglers' Path). It is not constituted by a proper via Ferrata as only a few passages are, in fact, secured with steel cable. The guide will be the one to be linked with the participants.
Tour programme- Preparation:We meet at our meeting point 10 minutes before the start of the activity. From there we all drive together, but with our own cars, to the beginning of the via Ferrata. When you arrive at the car park, you receive the equipment to wear. After a technical explanation to know the path to face it safely, we will begin to walk the approach route.
- Tour:The guide will help you every step of the way. When you reach the summit, you can take a break, take some pictures and
