13km Kayak & Canoe Hire in Ardèche - Swim & Sun

Rent a canoe and spend a relaxing day along the water, between sunbathing, swimming, and discovering beautiful landscapes. This 13 km canoe session will take you from Vallon Pont d'Arc to the beginnings of the Ardèche canyon and further through a succession of slides and small rapids. You will also pass under the famous "Pont d'Arc" arch. It is the perfect option to take your time, and to enjoy yourself by taking the time to tan, to bathe or have a small picnic! No experience needed, this river section is suitable for everybody. So, take your family or friends and enjoy descending the river at your own pace.

Tour programme - Preparation: We meet at our base in Vallon Pont d'Arc at the time indicated on your booking confirmation. - Tour: First, you pick up your equipment and your briefing, then we go up together by bus to the starting point which is 5 km upstream from the base. From there, you board alone or in pairs on your canoe for a nice descent of 13 km to the tour ending point, where we come to pick you up with our bus (departure every hour until 6 pm).

Tour facts - River: Gorges de l'Ardèche from Vallon Pont d'Arc - Description: easy tour, with successive water planes and slides - Route: departure 5 km upstream, arrival at meeting point 13 km down the river - Distance: 13 km - Total duration: as you wish, you can keep the canoe for as long as you want (until 6 pm)! - Time on the river: you will paddle during 2.5 hrs - Number of people per canoe: up to 3 (2 adults and 1 child from 7 to 11)
