A spectacular rafting tour awaits you in the Soča valley and leads you through the idyllic landscape along the Soča river. Navigate through splashing rapids, swim in the turquoise waters of the river and enjoy the view of the Julian Alps.Tour programme- Preparation:
We meet at our sport centre in Kobarid. If your accommodation is in Kobarid, we will be happy to pick you up from there, please inform us after completing the booking. If you arrive by car, there is a car park free of charge at the hotel Hvala. At the sport centre, you will meet your certified guides, who will also give you the appropriate equipment. Afterwards, we head to the starting point of the rafting tour with our vans.
- Tour:
There you will get an introduction about the basics of white water safety and learn how to use the paddle. You are now well-prepared and can start your adventure. Besides paddling on the beautiful Soča, you will also be able to jump from the rocks and swim in the fresh water. Your guide will also show you the basics of white water rescue.
- Return:
At the endpoint in Trnovo ob Soči, the vans will be waiting for you and will take you back to Kobarid. If you are looking for a well-deserved refreshment after the tour, there is the Hisa Polonka restaurant right next to the meeting point, or the Gostišče Jazbec restaurant, which is a 3-minute drive away.Tour facts

A great way to experience a unique river.
- Booking is simple, yet reliable.
- Staff are very helpful and clear.
- Guides are highly experienced and know the river as their pocket; know how to manage a diverse group (from sporty adults to parents with their children, different nationalities, ...); take ample time for rafting and safety instructions.
- Rafts and safety equipment are well-maintained
- A breathtaking experience: the emerald river, the rapids, the rocks, the landscape. (And we were lucky with the weather!)
- The activity requires for sure physical action and focus, but is not too demanding
