If you want to explore Salzburg's most beautiful sight from a very unique perspective, this relaxed rafting tour is just right for you! Our trip along the Salzach river takes you from the fascinating nature past the suburbs to the historical centre of the City of Mozart. It's the perfect opportunity to explore Salzburg away from the crowds with plenty of fun included!
Tour programme
- Preparation:
We meet at the booked start time at the hydropower station Urstein. Our recommendation is to take public transport to the train station Puch Urstein and walk to our meeting point (about 15 minutes), as the number of parking spots is limited. Once you arrive, you will receive your equipment and be given a comprehensive briefing by your rafting guide.
- Tour:
After practicing the right paddling technique together, our tour starts along the quiet section of the Salzach river. Our trip takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes and leads us from the hydropower station to the heart of the city of Salzburg.
- Tour:
We finish at Pioniersteg, where our bus will already be waiting for you with your personal belongings. We will provide you with towel ponchos so that you can change your wet clothes smoothly. Our exit point right in the centre of Salzburg offers you the perfect opportunity to continue exploring the city by foot.
