From the port of Adamantas, we head northwest towards Cape Vani, a historic site where the ruins of manganese mines from 1898 can still be seen. Millions of years ago, this area was the bottom part of a caldera beneath the sea. Our first stop is Kalogries, a protected bay with crystal clear turquoise waters. Here, you can swim and snorkel while enjoying a delicious homemade breakfast. We then pass by the beautiful bays of Triades, Ammoudaraki, and Ayios Ioannis before arriving at Sykia. This unique cave, the largest on the island, has no roof, allowing sunlight to illuminate its emerald waters, creating a stunning visual display.
