No holiday in Santorini is complete without a boat trip to the volcano and Thirasia Island, with a stop at the hot springs. Our outing will start with 20 minutes of sailing, after this we will reach the volcano. There, you will have the possibility to be guided to its ridge and learn about its history and its geology. After a 1.5-hour tour, you will go back on the boat and we will sail to Palea Kameni.
Once we have reached the island, we will have a 30-minute swimming stop to enjoy Agios Nicholaos beach. The water there is full of minerals such as sulfur or iron. It makes the water very good for the skin, arthritis, rheumatism, and other physical pain. Back on the boat, we'll head to Thirasia Island for a 2-hour break.
The island is one of the few Greek islands which is still untouched by tourism. You will explore the traditional village of 300 inhabitants and its picturesque streets. There, you will also be able to get to know the authentic Santorinian cuisine during your lunch break. On our way back, you will be able to enjoy a panoramic view on the coasts of Nea Kameni, the volcano island.
Such a wonderful experience with beautiful views of Santorini and the surrounding islands. The trip to the volcano was a great experience and the tour guide was very knowledgeable with lots of stories and tales of the island. The trip allowed ample time to explore the hot springs along with time to explore Thirasia. A just do experience if you are looking to explore more of Santorini.
The boat trip was absolutely amazing, best value for your money. The places it takes you are amazing, the trip guide has good knowledge and speaks multiple languages. In between the places you go being on the boat they have great music and on a sunny day it’s a perfect trip.
Very good value for money, charm of the wooden boat, nice team, swimming in the hot springs was more like a mud bath but good-natured atmosphere
