Full-Day Boat Trip from Medulin to Cres and the Blue Cave with Lunch"A wonderful day trip including dolphin watching, snorkeling (with your own equipment) in the Blue Grotto, and a visit to the town of Cres on the island of the same name. The incredibly friendly crew welcomed us with a welcome drink on the spacious boat. Drinks were readily available at all times. All the families found a place to sit together on the benches. During the crossing to Cres, we were incredibly lucky to observe a pod of dolphins up close. Snorkeling equipment is helpful for swimming in the Blue Grotto, but not essential. The underwater world was breathtaking. The charming town of Cres offers information on signs attached to some of the houses. Swimming, dining, and relaxing in the shade are also possible there. Relaxed and enjoying a beer after the trip, we then began our journey home, during which we had another opportunity to chat with the crew members. It was definitely worth it. We had two great spots for snorkeling in truly dreamy bays that you can only get to by boat. We had a round of homemade schnapps and a coffee in between. Then we fed seagulls and fish. Finally, we circled the island of Plavnik and looked for griffon vultures. Unfortunately, we didn't see any.
