Boat Trip to Piana & Scandola with Stopover in GirolataOur boat trip to the calanques of Piana and the Scandola Reserve takes you to the most beautiful places in Corsica! From the beach of Tiuccia, you will embark on our modern and eco-friendly boat: its aluminium hull and silent engines equipped with cavitation-reducing propellers allow it to minimise disturbance to the seabed and reduce noise pollution. The first stop of our itinerary will be the Scandola Nature Reserve, where you can observe a rich flora and fauna, as well as endangered animals such as ospreys (April to June), for example. Afterwards, we will go to the fishing village of Girolata. The stop will last 1.5 to 2 hours, so that you can have lunch in a local restaurant, and taste lobster, which is the speciality of the village! Once we have boarded the boat, we will head for the impressive Calanques of Piana. We will stay there for about 45 minutes to discover the granite rock caves and enjoy the contrast between the turquoise blue water and the red rock. During the trip, the captain will choose a quiet cove, away from any tourism, for you to make a swimming stop of about 20 minutes. You will also be able to snorkel using the equipment on board, however, we only have a limited number of masks, so feel free to bring your own equipment! At the end of the boat trip, we will return to Tiuccia beach, and you can enjoy, once again, the sublime view of Capo Rosso.
