Pirate Boat Trip to Kefalas Bay in Crete with Snorkeling"A fantastic boat trip! We were lucky enough to see dolphins, but even without that, it was a fantastic experience. The view is stunning, the atmosphere on deck is convivial, the food is delicious, and the aperitifs are very affordable. If you'd like, you can take the helm for a bit. The snorkeling spot is incredibly calm, and in the clear blue water, you literally swim among the fish. We booked the trip from 5hours and left at 8:30 in the morning. We first went to gramvousa island and later to balos beach. All before the mass of people came. My girlfriend says that the 5hours was finished before you even realize the beauty of the places. So we recommend to not book less then 5hours because you really need time to procces the beauty and enjoy it. 10/10 for sure!! We also got some local products from our captain at balos beach and a fresh drink if you'd like. "The program was kept to a high standard, the sailboat was beautiful, the captain and sailor were excellent.
Attentive to the participants and an excellent meal on board: grilled shrimp with paprika, Cretan salad, and a main course for those who can't eat seafood, including tapenade and tatziki. A nice and hearty Cretan meal, with unlimited water and beer.
A great morning stop at Gravousa, then Balos after the meal.
The only regret was the lack of wind for sailing, which the captain attempted for fun. Thanks to Mickael, our captain.
