You water the boats and during a final training, you can get to know the boat on a quiet section before it goes into the first rapids. Our assigned guide seemed to be the best of all—at least we had a blast on the tour, with the boat's little built-in turns, and we felt safe in the boat the whole time. The moment when we were asked to "swim" was surprising. But that was an adventure in itself.
