Rafting on the Isar River in Lenggries for Beginners"All in all, it was a fantastic experience. After a brief introduction, we were given a wetsuit, a life jacket, and a safety helmet. On the banks of the Isar, the guide gave us further instructions and pointed out the dangers. I found it very convenient that there were only six of us in our boat; we had plenty of space to paddle and didn't get in each other's way. I've also seen other operators on the Isar with significantly more people on board. I really enjoyed it and it was a lot of fun. The guide also had a lot to say about the river and the local scenery. "We did the family tour. We were with two children aged 11 and 13. It is a beautiful body of water for rafting. The fast currents didn't appear until later, which is good for children to get used to it first. Nice instructor, Benni. Enthusiastic and a great job.
It was nice that photos were taken by a photographer from the shore. You could get them digitally for 25 euros. This made for nice memories.
