After a brief introduction, we were given a wetsuit, a life jacket, and a safety helmet. On the banks of the Isar, the guide gave us further instructions and pointed out the dangers. I found it very convenient that there were only six of us in our boat; we had plenty of space to paddle and didn't get in each other's way. I've also seen other operators on the Isar with significantly more people on board. I really enjoyed it and it was a lot of fun. The guide also had a lot to say about the river and the local scenery. In August, the water level is not very high and the river is not very wild. It was a nice and enjoyable experience to remember."
