Then we take our minibus to the canyon, which is only a few minutes away. After a detailed safety briefing and abseiling practice, we start the tour with a short descent into the gorge. - Tour: Under the instruction of your experienced canyoning guide, you will master the various obstacles in the canyon. You can expect a wide variety of jumps, slides and abseils as well as an impressive waterfall. After a brief introduction, we were given a wetsuit, a life jacket, and a safety helmet. On the banks of the Isar, the guide gave us further instructions and pointed out the dangers. I found it very convenient that there were only six of us in our boat; we had plenty of space to paddle and didn't get in each other's way. I've also seen other operators on the Isar with significantly more people on board. I really enjoyed it and it was a lot of fun. The guide also had a lot to say about the river and the local scenery.
