Before we began, our guide explained how to paddle and which commands he would use. Then we launched the raft together. There, we gained our first experience with the raft, the water, and the waves. Our guide gave us lots of safety information. We tackled high waves and swam alongside the raft during calmer sections of the river. Overall, it was a very varied tour with fantastic views and a guide who always made us feel completely safe. "Despite the relatively low water level, this was a fantastic experience! Our guide Felix was really cool, and we had tons of fun on the water with him – especially me, as the only woman on board! The whole group was great. We went from calm to fast, swimming in the Ache river and jumping off the rocks was awesome – the water temperature was 9 degrees Celsius!
