After a brief introduction, we were given a wetsuit, a life jacket, and a safety helmet. On the banks of the Isar, the guide gave us further instructions and pointed out the dangers. I found it very convenient that there were only six of us in our boat; we had plenty of space to paddle and didn't get in each other's way. I've also seen other operators on the Isar with significantly more people on board. I really enjoyed it and it was a lot of fun. The guide also had a lot to say about the river and the local scenery. "We started our rafting trip in Lend, where we received good safety equipment and warm wetsuits against the cold water. The guides were friendly and pleasant. The trip lasted about 2.5 hours. In August, the water level is not very high and the river is not very wild. It was a nice and enjoyable experience to remember."
