Near Kufstein, the canyon is characterized by its exceptional amount of abseiling possibilities, as well as some fun jumps and water slides, and is perfect for intermediate canyoners as well as sporty beginners. Your state-certified guide will show you the right technique and ensure your safety while you enjoy a day full of adventure and thrills amidst the untouched nature of the Tyrolean Unterland. Tour programme - Preparation: We meet at our base in Erl, where you are welcomed by your guide and get changed into your wetsuit. You can park your car directly at the base. Then we take our minibus to the canyon, which is only a few minutes away. After a detailed safety briefing and abseiling practice, we start the tour with a short descent into the gorge. - Tour: Under the instruction of your experienced canyoning guide, you will master the various obstacles in the canyon. You can expect a wide variety of jumps, slides and abseils as well as an impressive waterfall. All jumps are optional and can be avoided if you don't feel comfortable. - Return: At the end of the tour we return to our camp in Erl. Right next door there is a recommendable restaurant where you can end the day with a well-deserved meal. The changing facilities could be improved, as there's only a makeshift communal changing room with no privacy. However, the exorbitant price for photos is almost outrageous! Since you're not allowed to bring your own cell phone and have to buy pictures if you want a souvenir of the trip, it's bordering on exploitation! The photographer is on the trip herself and takes photos of everyone the whole time.
