After a detailed safety briefing and abseiling practice, we start the tour with a short descent into the gorge. - Tour: Under the instruction of your experienced canyoning guide, you will master the various obstacles in the canyon. You can expect a wide variety of jumps, slides and abseils as well as an impressive waterfall. All jumps are optional and can be avoided if you don't feel comfortable. - Return: At the end of the tour we return to our camp in Erl. The changing facilities could be improved, as there's only a makeshift communal changing room with no privacy. However, the exorbitant price for photos is almost outrageous! Since you're not allowed to bring your own cell phone and have to buy pictures if you want a souvenir of the trip, it's bordering on exploitation! The photographer is on the trip herself and takes photos of everyone the whole time. "As a family with our two children (14 and 17 years old), we had an absolutely fantastic canyoning tour! The mix of action and fun was just right – exciting, but never overwhelming. Everyone's needs were taken into consideration, and if someone didn't want to do a jump, alternatives were always offered without any fuss. This made us feel safe and in good hands the entire time.
