About Scuola di Sci Olimpionica Sestriere

Our ski school Scuola di Sci Olimpionica is located in the ski area Via Lattea with 249 slopes, 80 of them for beginners. Our director, Alberto Casse, Italian Champion of the Giant Slalom in 1971, is looking forward to welcoming all the new beginners. In our school, you can find group ski and snowboard lessons for children and adults as well as private snowboard and ski lessons. After a couple of days skiing on my own whilst my son was in ski school I decided to book into ski school too - I have skied for a number of years and I was pretty nervous about joining a group but our teacher Valentina was absolutely incredible. Really great at giving good advice and tips on bad habits I have picked up over the years and also really friendly! I really enjoyed my time and will definitely sign up again!

What an experience My instructor Paolo was a true gentleman from start to the finish, the lessons were filled with expert practicable advice on the landscape, technique and general safety of skiing. Paulo not only built my confidence but he encouraged me to push myself which allowed me to progress from a very basic beginner to a confident, safe and prepared skier. I really can’t thank Paolo enough for his time and patience.
