The team of water sports Binz is looking forward to welcome you at Binzer Bucht on the island of Rügen. We have made it our goal to share our passion for water sports with you. Our water sports centre directly on the fine sandy beach is the ideal starting point for your windsurfing course with experienced and well-trained surf instructors. Whether beginner or advanced surfer, we offer the right course for every level. The course price includes the high quality rental equipment, which is regularly checked and renewed. If you wish, you can also take the windsurfing basic licence exam after the basic course. The beach bar 28 next to our center invites you to stay and relax after the course. Germany · August 2025It starts with a bit of theory and then we go straight into the water (without a sail at first) to practice standing on the board. Then we go back to the water to practice. While it sounds simple in theory and works great as a dry run, it's not so easy in the water. But if you stick with it (and stay on it), you'll manage. It's a lot of fun, and our children loved it too, and would have liked to go longer. One hour is perfectly adequate for a trial run and is suitable for absolute beginners. The instructor was very nice, motivating, and explained things well.
