I am a ski instructor, qualified with both the NZSIA and BASI. I am a qualified mountain safety first aider. I trained with the Rookies at Treble Cone, Lake Wanaka, New Zealand. I have spent a further 2 winters teaching at Coronet Peak and the Remarkables in Queenstown, New Zealand. I have spent the 5 winters based in Grindelwald, Switzerland. I offer private ski lessons & guiding. For the last 4 winters I have been based in Zurich, but cover all of Switzerland. I also offer snow consultancy across the world, from helping you find the right hotel to organising corporate days.

Tom is a fun and cheerful guy, and was great company for the day! I had previously tried skiing on my own, but found that I was clearly in need of some direction even after having watched countless beginner videos. Tom took me to the nursery slope to see where my troubles were, and immediately recognized my balance issue. In 90 minutes I was feeling quite confident and we were ready to take on a blue slope. By the end of the day, I was having loads of fun and feeling extremely confident about the control. I could tag along with a friend fairly comfortably and I'm looking forward to the next opportunity to practice what I've learned. Tom also gave me some advice about purchasing equipment, taking care of it and what I can do to remind myself of when practicing alone. Thanks again, Tom! See you for soon for a follow-up!
