Germany · August 2026The location (base camp) was unfortunately a bit run-down. We arrived on time, had to wait – like everyone else – and then suddenly there was a lot of commotion. Some of the shoes and wetsuits were quite worn, the size adjustment on almost none of the helmets worked, and ear pads were missing. My daughters were given suits that were much too big and consequently got quite cold during the tour. The tour itself is okay; the guides are really dedicated and enthusiastic. However, everything is only in English. Unfortunately, the water level was low in August, so it wasn't very action-packed. Apparently, the waves are three times as high when the water level is high, and then it's certainly a lot of fun. All the photos could be purchased digitally afterward at a very fair price.
