Friendly organiser, suitable equipment, life jacket provided and dry container to put all our belongings in. There was no rush to the adventure and you can choose whether to launch from the start then be collected further downstream, or get a lift upstream and meander along the river back to the start. Our 'instructor' was must friendly and spoke enough English for us to be able to understand the action plan. The scenery was plesant and very the water very serene and calm all the way along, with only the passing under one bridge mildly choopy. We cruised with a 6 year old and an 11 year old, in 2 kayaks, stopping at a beach along the way for our picnic. A very enjoyable and memorable day. You don't have an instructor with you throughout the day - you go along on your own down the river.
