About Ski School Habeler - Mayrhofen

Peter Habeler, a famous Austrian mountaineer, founded the "Ski & Alpinschule Mount Everest". The most notable event was the first ascent without supplemental oxygen of Mount Everest in 1978 together with Reinhold Messner. In 2006, Chris Habeler, Peter's son, took over the business and runs the School now under the name Skischool Habeler. Our school is not about size and quantity, it is about quality and our personal approach towards you. In our Instructors Team we focus on a solid education, a broad range of experience and methods as well as cordiality. We are looking forward to creating your "SNOW MEMORIES".

Highly recommend. There were 4 of us, all complete beginners and we received a private lesson from Jay. We felt comfortable and confident the whole time. By the end of the 4 hours Jay had us going down blue slopes and we were ready to go out on the slopes by ourselves!
