The boat tour itself was relatively okay. Why? Sitting for 5 hours on a kind of rocking beer bench, with a 1.5-hour stopover in Positano, which, by the way, was much, much nicer than Amalfi, and another 2 hours or so to be robbed of your savings in various restaurants and shops – well, basically a shopping tour. Neither romantic nor particularly great, but actually incredibly exhausting. Not recommended above 28 degrees Celsius (82 degrees Fahrenheit) – all uphill with masses of fellow romantics in a shopping frenzy, suffering from dehydration. Think carefully about whether it's worth your vacation day.
