SUP Paradise Ibiza

At SUP Paradise Ibiza, our lives are closely connected to the sea and the island. Our founder, Rubén Marí, has been immersed in the maritime world since his youth, starting his journey as a skipper at just 6 years old. His lifelong passion for the sea has led him to explore various facets of maritime life, from boat restoration to water sports. At the age of 14, Marí was already sailing through Ibiza on his first restored boat without a motor, experiencing countless adventures. At 20, he became a professional, working in shipyards, repair and maintenance companies, and as a skipper on luxury yachts. In 2000, he dedicated several years to restoring a damaged boat with the idea of developing a Stand Up Paddle (SUP) project, a sport that was not yet popular in Spain. His restoration of the Marenostrum was a significant success and embodies our belief that passion always triumphs.
