RIB Lofoten was founded in 2008 by Roar and Hans Egil to offer RIB trips and charters throughout Lofoten and Nordland. Tourism in Lofoten has grown steadily in recent years, reaching more than 1 million visitors annually. We were pioneers in Svolvær in transporting people with our boats and today we are one of the leading boat companies in the region. We focus on customer satisfaction, ensuring that each tour is unique and personalised. We listen to our customers to offer a product that matches their needs and desires, without overwhelming them with too much information or high speed that prevents them from enjoying the scenery. We maintain a balance between tourism, knowledge and emotion, creating the best possible experience. Committed to the environment, we have installed low-emission engines and filters that collect microplastics on all our boats. Our petrol engines are more efficient and less polluting than diesel engines. We are proud to be the official supplier of the Hurtigruten Group in Lofoten and Vesterålen.
