Les Barquettes Marseillle

Get on board an original Marseille barquette with Les Barquettes Marseille! These boats were originally fishermen's boats, and some of them have been restored and converted for your enjoyment. This particular barquette was built in Cassis in 1972 and converted into a pleasure boat in the late 1980s. The skipper who will accompany you on this trip will be delighted to tell you a little more about the history of these boats as you navigate the waters of the Mediterranean. Thanks to the know-how involved in their construction and use, these boats are listed in France's Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage, and some of the barquettes are protected as historic monuments.
