About Martin Lancaric Obergurgl

I have developed an easy and highly effective learning method for children and adults no matter if you are a beginner, intermediate or an expert. My philosophy is to teach the mechanics of skiing by understanding balance, resistance of the snow and how to steer the skis. With modern equipment skiing is way easier than it was ten years ago and everyone can enjoy winter sports. My motto is: Ski with less resistance of the snow, ski better and be confident in every terrain and in every weather condition. So try my ski school and let’s have fun together!

Martin Lancaric Obergurgl holds the highest qualification for ski instructors in Austria and additionally completed the training for ski guides

Petra was the best instructor I could have wished for my daughters who were both non-skiers. She was so kind and patient, neither of them fell, they felt safe and were learning to parallel ski by day 3! They skied from the top of the mountain to the bottom on day 4, an amazing feat!

We had the most wonderful experience learning to Ski with Petra! It was like spending time with a friend - she was so patient, kind and encouraging. We really built our confidence learning to ski and hope to continue to do so in future. Martin & Petra even managed to organise another last minute session when we wanted to try a few new runs. We had a few lessons at an artificial slope before our holiday but Petra is worth every penny and really developed our skills individually.
