"The snowmobile tour was great! We were out on February 28th and it was snowing. We were warmly wrapped up beforehand in overalls, warm socks and gloves, very warm boots, a balaclava and a helmet. We were then driven from the center of Rovaniemi in a minibus to Santa Claus Village. The tour takes place in the forest opposite. We were the only ones in our group (3 adults and 3 children) and enjoyed the luxury of a private tour. We were given 3 snowmobiles, so our 8-year-old son could also come along as a passenger and didn't have to get in the sleigh. The tour lasted 1 hour through deep snow-covered forests. Halfway through we took a good 10-minute break and our guide gave us warm blueberry juice and biscuits. Then we went back through the forest at a brisk pace. We even saw dog sleds in the forest next to us. Everything worked out perfectly. It was a fantastic experience for us and we can recommend it without reservation!
