It was a very nice excursion. We stopped for a break both on the way there and back, where there was food, drinks, and restrooms. The beach was beautiful, the water very clear, and the guide and bus driver were very friendly people. The pickup went smoothly as well. All in all, I must say it was a successful trip. I should mention, however, that we were there in September, so after the peak season. Therefore, it might be overcrowded during peak season. We had good weather, and while there were still a few other visitors, it was absolutely manageable. Something else to be aware of: you have to walk down to the beach from the parking lots and then back up again. It's not very steep, but it is a bit of a walk.

A wonderful tour to beautiful places in western Crete. Rania was our guide. She shared a wealth of information about the different locations, but the best part was how much she loves Crete. Rania was incredibly attentive, and you could approach her with any question. That made the tour truly special.
