Our 5- and 7-year-olds had to arrive a bit early on the first day for a pre-ski session, after which they were grouped based on their skill level. They were placed in a class with excellent young Dutch ski instructors who taught them a lot and made it fun. They are very punctual about their schedules, so be sure to be on time. The two-hour breaks may seem long, but they're a nice way to have a quiet meal, relax, or hit the slopes with your children. There are competitions on Fridays, and the instructors encourage that.

Being in the same group with my nephews and niece was ideal for them to start skiing. The ages were a bit spread out, but this was no obstacle to good ski lessons. We had a super fun time!
