Excellent experience - my son had 6 hours of lessons in England before Chamonix and could only come down a slope frontside, and I had not been on a snowboard for nearly 20 years. Then we had just two hours with Pierre at CheckYeti and we're now ready for a blue run! Highly recommended.

I had never skied in my life before, this was my very first time putting on a pair of skis. I’ve never considered myself a particularly adventurous or radical person, so starting to ski was quite a challenge for me, especially at nearly 50 years old. I have to say that my instructor, Mich, never gave up on me. He worked patiently with me, especially on building my confidence. By the fourth day, I was already feeling quite confident and was even able to go skiing on other slopes with my friends outside of the lesson environment.

The lessons were excellent for our 2 x 10 and our 8 year old. The communication was amazing. When we changed location to a more challenging ski resort no questions were asked and the request was accommodated. We stayed in Vallorcine and initially had our lessons booked in Le Buet, the slope there was far too basic for our little skiers. We were due to have a different instructor each day (we booked these lessons late) however after the kids bonding so well with Thierry we requested him on subsequent days and this was honoured. Thierry was fabulous, the kids came along leaps and bounds with him. Thank you so much, highly recommend.
