I was able to book a lesson last minute which I’m thankful for. My instructor, Matteo (I hope I have remembered and spelt the name correctly), is very experienced, knowledgable, friendly and patient. He taught me what the appropriate stance width for me on the snowboard is and at what angle (number) the bindings should be adjusted at. The lesson itself was extremely helpful. He gave me good on how to best snowboard and to make sure I don’t fall over as much as I had so far. He demonstrated the moves after he had explained what we will be doing. He also explained how to properly get off the chairlifts without falling over (this was one thing I had struggled with). I am very thankful for the lesson and Matteo being my instructor; it has given me the confidence boost and the proper way to keep snowboarding.
