Check-in at the port was super simple and can be done in English. Parking for the day cost us €20, but we were parked right at the departure point. Be sure to save your ticket on your phone; it will be checked again at each boarding point for the next stop! On Port Cros, there's an "experimental" circular walking trail for dogs, a relaxing hour-long walk through the woods. The only experimental thing about it is that you have to look a little hard for the trail markers. An absolutely wonderful day trip, especially for us with a dog!
