Fascinating place, fantastic water, it's just a shame we had to leave in the late afternoon. The organization is excellent, but the boat transfer is a bit long (about 2 hours), so it's best to plan ahead, especially if you need to entertain the kids. The transfer from the boat to the boats for the island tour is quick and easy. A visit to the top of San Nicola is highly recommended: breathtaking views and the interesting architecture of the monastery and its abbey (which, unfortunately, we found under renovation).
