For those children who want to improve further whilst spending time with others, our kids ski lessons in Lackenhof am Ötscher are a great fit. Advanced skiers between 5 and 16 years old can join our instructors, who always improve their methods and programmes to fit your kids' needs. It is our goal to make learning as fun as possible!
In this course, improving skiing safety and technique are our main goals. In order to learn as efficiently as possible, we try not to have more than 10 children in a group. This way, each snow lover can reach their personal goals. At the end of this course, your children will feel even more confident and speed down the slopes with grace and precision.
The area stretches over numerous slopes, including blue, red, and black runs. This enables our staff to select the best slopes for the group. Here, your children will surely have an unforgettable snow experience.
Meeting Time
On the first day of the course, please come to the Intersport shop in Lackenhof at least 15 minutes before the course starts (Käferbichlstraße 21/2, Eibenkogel valley station, 3295 Lackenhof) to collect your course card from the shop. The card contains all important participant and course details and entitles you to take part in the ski course. You can also collect your course card from the Intersport shop on the days before the course. Afterwards, please go to the meeting point in front of the Intersport shop, where the course starts.
Lunch Break
You are welcome to have lunch with your children during the lunch break from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Please pick them up at Intersport.
Equipment Rental
If you book including equipment, you can pick it up at our ski and snowboard rental until 45 minutes before the start of the course or comfortably the day before. We are open daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Ski pass
All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass before the first lesson at the ski lift ticket office or online.
Good to know
Lessons take place with a minimum of 4 participants. If there are fewer than 4 participants, the course price will be credited in the form of private lessons.

What should I wear for my lessons?
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
When should I collect my equipment?
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Do I need to wear a helmet?
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Where can I buy a ski pass?
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
