For your youngest children, so that they can discover skiing in the most favourable conditions, we offer Discovery Session for Children from 2 and a half to 5 years old in Veysonnaz. In a special setting, your budding skier can take their first steps under the supervision of a specialist instructor. We will adapt to your child's needs and help them gain confidence on their skis.
These private lessons are of short duration in order to respect the learning rhythm of your child. We accept a maximum of 2 participants per lesson, without extra charge, so our instructors are always taking care of your child. They will learn how to move around with their skis, keep their balance, and maybe even do their first snow plough. These courses only take place on Saturdays.
Ski pass
The ski pass is free for children under 8 years old. However, you need to collect it at the ski lift ticket office before the first lessons.

What should I wear for my lessons?
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
When should I collect my equipment?
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Do I need to wear a helmet?
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Where can I buy a ski pass?
