What to Expect

Learn to snowboard like a pro with our adult snowboarding lessons for beginners! In the beautiful ski resort of Sierra Nevada, you can enjoy gliding down the slopes on your board and learn all the basics movements together with a certified instructor. We form groups of 8 people per instructor, so you receive personalized guidance and attention.

Step by step, you can get familiar with the basics of snowboarding: finding your natural stance, placing your weight and get a feeling of the equipment. Your instructor will help you to gain confidence, so you can start to move and make your first turns on the board. At the end, you will be sliding on the snow and be ready to hit the slopes!

Meeting Time

We meet 15 minutes before the start of the course on the right next to the top station exit of the gondola "Al-Ándalus, opposite the magic carpet. You are welcome to drop off your children at our ski school office (Hotel Melià Sierra Nevada Local 6) and we will accompany them up to the meeting point. At the end of the course, you can pick up your ski enthusiasts at our ski school office.

Equipment Rental

If you book including equipment, you can pick it up at our ski and snowboard rental up to two hours before the start of the course or comfortably the day before. We are open daily from 09:00 to 19:00 (Bajos Hotel Meliá Sol y Nieve, local 7).

Ski Pass

All snowboarders need a ski pass for the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass before the first lesson at the ski lift ticket office or online.
